I do wonder how many millions of pictures of snow-covered roads, fields, cars and houses have been posted across personal and professional blogs and websites, Twitter feeds and Facebook pages over the last few days. The snow never fails to entertain us whether in the form of snowball fights, snowman making or competitive tales of how long it took us to get somewhere because of it.

I decided not to join the ranks and post pictures of my snow-covered car, or my buried shed but share some icicle pictures instead. My favourite is picture two as you can see a reflection of my large fir-tree in the water droplet.
